Diabetes in pets, much like in humans, occurs when the body is unable to produce enough insulin or effectively use the insulin it produces. Insulin is crucial for regulating blood sugar levels, and when this balance is disrupted, pets may experience increased thirst, excessive urination, weight loss, and other symptoms. Our pet botanicals aim to complement traditional diabetes management by providing natural support to enhance overall well-being.

Key Herbs in Our Pet Botanicals:

Elecampane: Benefits: Elecampane is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. In the context of diabetes, it may contribute to reducing inflammation and supporting respiratory health, promoting overall comfort for pets.

Fennel: Benefits: Fennel is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It may aid in digestion, helping pets with diabetes manage gastrointestinal challenges that can sometimes accompany the condition.

Oats: Benefits: Oats are a soothing and nourishing ingredient. They can provide nutritional support and contribute to overall well-being, making them beneficial for pets managing diabetes.

Rosehips: Benefits: Rosehips are a rich source of vitamin C and antioxidants. They can support the immune system, helping pets with diabetes maintain their overall health.

St. Mary's Thistle (Milk Thistle): Benefits: St. Mary's Thistle is renowned for its liver-supporting properties. Given that diabetes management can impact the liver, this ingredient plays a crucial role in supporting liver function.

How Our Pet Botanicals Can Help:

It's important to note that while our pet botanicals can be a valuable addition to a pet's care routine, they should be used under the guidance of a veterinarian. Always consult with your veterinarian to ensure the best care for your pet's specific needs and diabetes management plan.
