Solomon Seal - Glycetract

Polygonatum spp.

Not much is known about this "must have" herb.  Matthew Wood (American Herbalist) takes credit for bringing this amazing herb back to life.  (so glad he did)

Solomon's seal is used to

• treat lung disorders,
• reduce swelling (inflammation),
• and to dry out tissue and draw it together (as an astringent).
• bruises, ulcers, or boils on the fingers,
• hemorrhoids,
• skin redness, and
• water retention (edema).
• Gut health
• Sprains
• strengthening of the musculoskeletal system
• Ligaments and tendons - too tight Solomon Seal loosens and if too loose, Solomon Seal tightens.

Glycetracts are made without using alcohol for the extraction of the herb. They are made from Glycerol, distilled water and herbs. The glycerol used is vegetable sourced. Glycetracts are suitable for people who need to avoid any alcohol (e.g. young children, recovering alcoholics and those with liver distress).
